Over the past few months I’ve learned that makeup organization and storage is as important as the makeup products themselves. To keep everything in their pristine condition, I had to look for the perfect storage solution.
I wanted a compact makeup bag I could easily carry around for gigs, lightweight enough for my small frame yet still have enough space for my makeup essentials. I love that its not made in the typical train case material that I find too bulky. It also has a detachable strap which can be adjusted.
Let me break down its awesomeness to you guys.
- This is what it looks like when opened. All in all it has 2 small compartments each on 2 levels, 1 big compartment in the middle and 3 zippered pouches at the flap. The big compartment in the middle houses my palettes, brush cups, disposables, lashes, alcohol and water in spray bottles. I wasn’t able to get the specifications of this bag but to give you an idea of its size, an 88 color palette fits snugly inside standing up.
- The top level on the right has my eye stuff namely brow powders, brow highlighter, eyeshadow base, gel eyeliners, concealer, mascara and brow gel. The bottom layer is dedicated solely for my lip products. I depotted my lipsticks so I can clearly see what colors I have. I also have lip gloss tubes in what I think are the most universal colors any kit should have. One in a pink shimmery color, one clear top coat, one nude and one red shade.
- The mesh pouches are conveniently located on the inside of the flap of the bag. The topmost pouch contains my acrylic palette and velcro hair guards. The second one has all my lip and eye pens/pencils. The third has my tools: razor, eyelash curler, steel spatula and cosmetic scissors.
- The left levels have my face products. I keep all my foundations, primer, final/setting powders and face palettes here.
A million smooches for this pretty one!
There ya go! This was a Christmas gift from the boyf
